VIERA, FL –Amscot is set to celebrate the grand opening of its Viera branch at 8530 North Wickham Road on Saturday, October 24th from noon to 2 p.m. As part of the grand opening celebration, Amscot will be donating $500 to Candlelighters of Brevard, Inc., a non profit organization that is dedicated to children with cancer and their families by offering emotional support and financial assistance. From economic assistance to emotional encouragement, they help families survive the extreme physical, psychological and practical hardships of this disease. Rep. Ritch Workman will be presenting the check on behalf of Amscot.
In addition to supporting Candlelighters of Brevard, Inc., the grand opening event will also offer an array of activities for families. Everyone wins something when they spin our prize wheel, including a $100 Publix Gift Card for one lucky person! Bike helmets will be given to the first 100 kids to arrive and there will be radio station giveaways from WA1A 107.1 FM as they broadcast live from Amscot’s parking lot. Free refreshments and lunch from Panera Bread will be provided and there will be giveaways from Western Union and MetroPCS.
